The I INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CHILD STUDIES invites abstract submissions until June 17th, 2022 

The conference includes spaces open to the submission of research works in the form of posters, oral communications, symposia or workshops. Proposals should be included in one of the following sub-topics: a) Arts, Creativity and Childhood Cultures; b) Childhood and Intergenerational Approaches; c) Children and Technology in the Digital Age; d) Children’s Literature; e) Child Language, Reading and Writing; f) Children’s Rights, Agency and Voice; g) Curriculum and Pedagogy in the early years; h) Migration, Diversity and Transcultural / Transnational Childhoods; i) Education and Professional Development of Childhood Professionals; j) Environment, Ecology and 21st Century childhoods; k) Health, Physical Activity and Children’s Wellbeing; l) Children, Parenting and Family Interventions; m) Research Methods.

Proposals must be submitted electronically in English. At least one of the authors must register for the proposal to be included in the conference programme.


Papers may be presented in English, Portuguese or Spanish.
 

Each participant is limited to three submissions as main author.

  • Paper presentation
  • Poster
  • Symposium (4 to 5 papers around a give topic)
  • Workshops

Submission Guidelines

– Abstracts must be submitted online.

– Abstracts must have a title.

– Abstracts must be no longer than 300 words, excluding bibliographic references.

– Abstracts must include 3 to 5 keywords.

– All abstracts must be submitted in English.

– Abstract must be submitted online, so the text format is automatic.

– Author’s/authors name and surname are mandatory. 

– Abstracts will undergo a “blind” review process. All the information related to the authors of the abstracts won’t be available for the reviewers.

Please identify the sub-theme which you are submitting your abstract.

– Presentation types: when submitting an abstract, you can suggest a presentation type – Individual Oral Presentation, Poster, Workshop or Symposium Presentation.
